touchscreen display issues

HP Pavilion 15-inch Displays

My touchscreen went out I bought a replacement screen but still nothing. Today I notice that the caps lock led is blinking in 3's ( it blinks 3 times like morris code). does anyone know what this means? Please help need to do school work that is due tomorrow!!!!!!!!!

As I understand your touchscreen wasn't working, you've replaced the display, however, the device is now sending morse codes via the 3 blinks on capslock,

Lucky for you, I know how to decipher Morse codes 😉 & I'll be glad to help, however, to provide an accurate resolution, I need a few more details: 

Did you replace the screen from HP or was it a local store?

(I must notify that HP doesn't recommend replacing parts from 3rd party vendors to avoid such issues)


While you respond to that, here's what you need to know:

And The best way to identify and resolve the issue is by using the HP Guided Troubleshooter: 

Click here to access it (simply select your description of the issue from the bottom of the screen to gain access to the next set of steps that should resolve your concern).
