Bluetooth device code 10

HP Recommended
HP Envy 17 Notebook PC G0U27AV
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

So I recently(yesterday) replaced my wireless card. Since the replacement I have been having trouble with my bluetooth shutting itself off. When I investigate the problem it says that it's off and it says code 10 device cannot start. I have uninstalled the drivers, reinstalled the drivers, the only way to fix the problem is to shut my computer down and turn it back on but that is only temporary. Any advice on a fix for this?

This is my new wireless card. http://www.intel.com/content/www/us/en/wireless-products/dual-band-wireless-ac-7260-bluetooth.html

Hi,

What is the original wireless card on your machine ? Atheros AR9485 802.11b/g/n 1x1 WiFi adapter, Intel Dual Band Wireless-AC 3160 802.11 ac 1x1 WiFi and BlueTooth 4.0 combination WLAN adapter or Broadcom BCM43142 802.11bgn 1x1 Wi-Fi and Bluetooth 4.0 HMC combination WLAN adapter ?

Please try to install  Intel Bluetooth Driver:

The original one was the broadcom adapter you listed.  Sorry for forgetting to leave the post, first day of school today

Hi,

That may explain a bit, your machine still has broadcom BT driver and now with Intel hardware. Please install Intel driver above.

So I think that the driver thing might have been the problem because I did a speedtest out of curiosity and it says I am getting approximately double the speeds I was getting yesterday when I tested after the new card was put in. So I think my problem may be fixed.

If it doesn't happen to me again by tommorow evening I will come back andaccept as solution.

So almost as soon as I said if the problem doesn't happen by tommorow I think it's fixed. I am getting the Code 10 status device power failure again.
