How to replace intel centrino n2230 with another card

i have had nothing but problems with my 2230 adapter and am looking to replace it.

i bought my computer at costco in japan and there is no serial number tag on the bottom, in the location indicated in the maintenance manual.

the model is envy dv7 with intel i5-3210M cpu @ 2.50ghz and 8.00gm ram, 64 bit

also, which of the adapters that you listed in this post is the one you recommend - i would hate to have the same problems as the 2230 upon replacement.

thanks for your help

How to replace intel centrino n2230 with another card

Hi @leffyj

Welcome to the HP Forums!

Thank you for posting your query in this forum, it's a great place to find answers.

I reviewed your post and I understand that you want to know which wireless card to purchase for your computer.

Don’t worry, I’d love to help!

The wireless cards you have listed are the supported wireless cards for your computer and you can purchase anyone and install it. Personally, I suggest you purchase a wireless USB dongle as it is easy to install and use.

Hope that answers your question and you have a great day!
