HP won't accept the Pass Phrase I set up when I first started using the printer 3 years ago.  Is there a way to set a new pass phrase?  if so, how?

Welcome to the HP Support Community. I'd be happy to assist you.

 

HP printer does not have a password.

 

If you are trying to connect the printer wirelessly to your PC, use the wireless password for your wireless router.

To know how to find the wireless password, refer to this document.

Note: Make sure you are using the exact password, it is case sensitive.

 

You may also connect the printer to the wireless network by using WPS method where the password is not required.

Refer to the steps mentioned under 'Connect a printer that does not have a touchscreen control panel'.
