Network Controller error, no wifi adapter after windows 10 update.

HP Pavilion g6 Notebook PC
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

Hello...

After a random update of windows 10 I have been left with no wifi adapter.

In device manager under network adapters there is no software for wireless connection (e.g Ralink wireless driver).

But below in other devices there is a network controller which has an error... I have tried updating the driver windows manages to locate software (Ralink RT5390R 802.11bgn WiFi Adapter) but encounters an error while installing.

I have also tried downloading network adapters and installing them but no action seems to occur even after restarting.

I need wireless internet again any help will be greatly appreciated.

Kind regards Aiden.

Hi:

The only suggestion I can offer would be to try the W10 driver directly from Mediatek.
