Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

My WIFI is automatically turned off when an Ethernet cable is plugged in.   We need to connect to the Internet via WIFI while connecting to a local network via a Static IP address.   This works fine in all other laptops.

Researching seems to indicate a BIOS setting for this.   The BIOS WAN/LAN setting is not present in this model.  Also research indicates some WIFI adapters have this as an advanced setting, this does not appear to be the case in this model.

All drivers are updated.

The following article is for TURN OFF. Please use same procedure to TURN ON wifi when using wired Networks

Note: Windows and BIOS won't turn it off.

Unfortunately that setting does not appear to be supported by the WiFi adapter
