how to print using Air-Print app in IPAD?

If I go to apple IPAD help for air-print.

These are the only wi-fi HP printers that the air-print can print from IPAD.

Here is a list of wireless printers that support AirPrint:

[This is from Apples' tech. support:]

HP Envy eAll-in-One series (D410a)

HP Photosmart Plus e-AiO (B210a)

HP Photosmart Premium e-AiO (C310a)

HP Photosmart Premium Fax e-AiO (C410a)

HP Photosmart e-AiO (D110)

HP Photosmart Wireless e-AiO (B110)—Europe and Asia-Pacific

HP Photosmart eStation (C510)

HP LaserJet Pro M1536dnf Multifunction Printer

HP LaserJet Pro CM1415fn Color Multifunction Printer

HP LaserJet Pro CM1415fnw Color Multifunction Printer

HP LaserJet Pro CP1525n Color Printer

HP LaserJet Pro CP1525nw Color Printer

I have a HP Laser Jet 4 plus wireless printer.

I can print from my SONY VAIO laptop.

Is there any software patch that will let me print from my IPAD?

Please advise.

Thank you,

Hi dadaji,

It's not clear you ever found your answer. Basically AirPrint only works on HP ePrint enabled printers. It is not simply a wireless connection that is required. There is some significant firmware modification that went into supporting ePrint and AirPrint. You might be able to use HP's free iPrint Photo 3.0 app to print from your iPad. Check it out at:

Here is some additional info on AirPrint vs. ePrint...

This document lists the requirements for printing with AirPrint.

Hope this helps.
