Accidentally "uninstalled" the driver/software that allows me to "turn off" my touch pad

I believe I accidentally "uninstalled" my driver/software that allows me to "turn off" the touch pad on the actual laptop.  Is it possible to reinstal or reactivate this functionality?

Hello,

Please try this driver and see if that works !!

http://h20564.www2.hp.com/hpsc/swd/public/detail?sp4ts.oid=5271715&swItemId=ob_106521_1&swEnvOid=405...

If it doesnt help and then provide exact model/Product number  and OS version of your PC

For information on finding your product or model number click here: Finding Your HP Product Model Number.

or

Go to Device manager, Righ Click on the missing driver tab and try updating drivers automatically

or

Perform System Restore to an Earlier date on which the PC was working fine

Hope this helps, for any further queries reply to the post and feel free to join us again
