Display Drivers for Windows 7 on HP NC4400

Hi, I installed Windows 7 Ultimate (32bit) on my HP NC4400. 1 issues which I am facing is that the LCD panel screen will not turn itself off even though I have set it to automatically turn itself off in 3 mins. I then went back to the HP Support & Drivers page and noticed that HP does not have any published drivers for Windows 7 platform for the NC4400 notebook range. I will like to check with HP if and when drivers will published for the NC4400 or perhaps recieve some advice as to the settings to which I can enable the LCD screen to shut down when idle.

Re: Display Drivers for Windows 7 on HP NC4400

Strange issue, are you using driver from intel?

Have you installed intel chipset?

I found no problem using driver from intel, but I install it in my old V3200 series, that have the chipset (945GM)as yours.

NC4400 is way too old, I doubt HP will update the drivers.
