Freezes within a minute I log in

Every time I go to log in, I'm able too, but once I'm logged in, it freezes within a minute and I'm not able to open the task manager or anything, only thing it lets me do is shut down the laptop by holding the power button or taking out the battery

Hi,

Shut down the notebook.

Tap away at the esc key as you start the notebook to enter the Start-up Menu.  Select the Diagnostic Menu option ( f2 ) and run the tests on the Hard Drive and Memory.

Post back with the results, including any error code that may be generated.

Can you also post back with the following details:

The full Model No. and Product No. of your notebook - see Here for a guide on locating this information.

The full version of the operating system you are using ( ie Windows 8 64bit ).

Regards,

DP-K
