How to speed the mouse (Touchpad)

HP Recommended

I bought HP pavilion g 6 (I runinng windows 7 home basi) 

 

I want to speed up my touchpad mouse! specially when I want to select text or something!

Hi,

 

Open windows Control Panel, open Mouse and click the 'Pointer Options' tab - here you should find a slider to increase the pointer speed.  Click Apply to save any change you make.

 

Also, while still in the Mouse window, click the Device settings tab, click Device settings button and look for a similar option to the one above in this menu.

what's the best settings to be more productive with the mouse?

 

I curently set the Pointer Options to the maxmium FAST

The 'best' settings are really what you find suits your personal requirements the best - the document on the link below gives a good overview of the relevant settings available using your ClickPad ( some details may vary a little depending on your exact version ).
