In windows8 how do i set it so that a program doesn't change my IE homepage. I hate windows 8

I set my IE homepage, then when I went back on the internet it changed to some other page.  I want to change my homepage myself, no one else.

Hello,

Thank you for posting in HP Support forums.

Could you provide me with information :

-> what is your HP computer model/make ?

-> what is the operating system you run (e.g. Windows version and edition) ?

-> what is the browser you use ?

This symptom could be a sign of malicious activity, malware/virus infection.

-> do you run antivirus/security softwares ? Are they updated ?

In order to be able to help you I need to understand what causes the start/home page to change so that I help you remove the problem.

I need some information (software and hardware) from your machine to start diagnosing.

I solved the problem by removing a couple of the pre-loaded junk programs.  Thank you.
