Major issues after hibernate with Thundberbolt 3 Dock

HP Recommended
HP ZBook 15 G3
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

So at this point i have two fully updated zbook 15 g3 systems that i am attempting to use the Thundberbolt 3 Dock.  Both systems when you use hibernate or sleep and remove the dock you have issues.

The machine when disconnected from the dock will then wake up dead.  You will then hold the powerbutton and the machine will sound like a tug boat blowing its horn.

I have updated ALL drivers as per the HP Support application.

I have updated the Bios to the latest avilable.   -- N81 Ver. 01.12 2016-11-01

Please advise as to the next steps to get this issue resolved.

Dan,

This got me about 80% to where I need to be.  The only scenerio left that this does not meet is the following.

Use the machine through out the day. (on dock)

Hybernate (while on dock)

Use the machine at night.  (wakes up now without problem)

Hybernate (off dock)

Return to office plug dock in turn machine on

The machine does not return to using the dock correctly.  I have to Hybernate the machine while connected to the dock.  Wake from hybernation again to be able to use it correctly.

This is the same behavior with sleep.

What is interesting now is there was an appcrash that happens and it appears like this.
