PC will not load programs and does not wake from sleep.

HP Stream "14
Microsoft Windows 10 (32-bit)
I got a brand new HP Stream PC today, and all this morning it's been working great. This afternoon it started getting networking issues. Then I assumed it was because of my families flood of connections with the Wifi.

This is where my problem starts-
I was using my art program and suddenly it started to lag. And everything was becoming kind of unresponsive, so I closed the program. I click to turn it back on, and all I get is the spinning wheel. Then it doesn't respond to anything else I click on. So I press the hibernate button on accident, and it wouldn't wake up. So I was forced to shut off the computer.

I turn it back on and the same thi mng happens, no programs are opening at all, and whenever it sleeps, it does not wake up.

I don't know what to do. Should I just **bleep** it off and let it cool off for a while? I've been on it a long time and wondering if that did it?

Hello;

Allow me to welcome you to the HP forums!

Here are some troubleshooting steps you can try: http://support.hp.com/us-en/document/c03383935

If those don't fix your issue, there is an alternative ...

You paid for free HP Tech Support as part of the warranty coverage, so you might as well make use of it.

While this PC is still under warranty, you should contact HP Customer Support directly to have them put you in touch with HP Technical Support to see what they can do about troubleshooting and repairing your machine remotely.

I did this recently and the HP Tech was able to remotely access my PC from the Internet and do the needed repairs.

If you live in the US or Canada, contact information is on this page: http://www8.hp.com/us/en/contact-hp/phone-assist.html#section1

If you live elsewhere, contact information is on this page: http://www8.hp.com/us/en/contact-hp/ww-contact-us.html

NOTE: After you get through, stay on the line until you are finally able to talk to some one -- it can take a while!

If you have trouble finding a phone number, then try: 1 (800) 474-6836

However, today is a holiday for lots of places in the U.S., so you might have to wait until tomorrow to contact them.

Good Luck
