I was curious if there was a way to use the keyboard on the device while in tablet mode so that I can use the hardware while the screen is projected on to a second monitor.
I have the Envy Notebook purchased in 2015 (sorry I don't know more model descriptions)
Again, I have the screen projected to a second monitor and I want to be able to use the keyboard while they screen is flipped over faced down (dont worry I have a cushion to protect the screen) and the device is in the tablet orientation.

First off ,I would require the model# of the unit to assist you better. Most HP tablets are designed in such a way that the keyboard is disabled in tablet mode only to ensure that it functions as a fully functional tablet. In such cases, the workaround would be to connect a wireless keyboard to the tablet and use it or a USB wired keyboard.
