Hi there @ZEKE1312,
Thank you for visiting the HP Support Forums and Welcome! This is a great site to get answers and ask questions.
In order to get you the proper information, I just need to know what device the Android Drivers are for?
You had mentioned that you have a HP Pavilion dv9700 Notebook PC with Windows Vista. Do you have an HP Android Device? If so, what model do you have?
Please re-post and let me know.
Thank you!
Have a great day!

I'm using Windows 7 SP1on an HPe9105z desktop. I'm attempting to connect my Motorola Moto X via Blue Tooth to my PC. When I load the Bluetooth group of drivers, all but one loads OK. All the "peripheal" drivers load except one (unknown name). Using W7, I cannot transmit, receive, listen to music. The phone (XT1060) shows a yellow triangle meaning an issue with a driver. All indicaters one would expect for this situation.
I also have an HP dv9000 laptop using Vista with the same problem except I can play music from my phone to the PC! I then loaded W7 to the laptop., It plays music! Going to the Motorola web site, they do not have a driver for Moto X listed. I did try another driver they had listed without success.
I also tried Linux Mint 17.1 without success (but that's another story and not relevent to this problem I'm trying to resolve).
At this point it appears to me Motorola does not have a bluetooth driver for a Moto X phone?

Hello @ZEKE1312,
I have read your post on how you are attempting to connect your Motorola Moto X using a Bluetooth connection, and I would be happy to assist you in this matter!
To pair your two devices, I recommend following the steps below:
Step 1. Go to device manager
Step 2. Right click on "Bluetooth Peripheral Device" that you want
Step 3. Select "Update Driver Software..."
Step 4. Choose "Browse my computer for driver software"
Step 5. Choose "Let me pick from a list of device drivers on my computer"
Step 6. Select "Ports (COM & LPT)"
Step 7. Select "Microsoft" at "Manufacturer" list
Step 8. Finally select "Standard Serial over Bluetooth link"
If you are still unable to pair with a Bluetooth device try the following:
Step 1. Search for "Change device" in the Windows 8 Start menu.
Step 2. Click on where it says Change device installation settings.
Step 3. Select the No, let me choose what to do option.
Step 4. Check the automatically get the device app option
Step 5. Click Save changes to save the settings you just chose
As well you can try this:
Step 1: Go to RUN (Windows Logo + R) and type “services.msc” and Enter
Step 2: Now find “Bluetooth Support Service” and double click on it
Step 3: Now click on Log On Tab and Type in "Local Service" without quotes
Step 4. Click on “This Account”
Step 5: Now remove any passwords leave the password field blank
Step 6: Underneath the upper left title should be a hyperlink "Start"
Step 7: Click "Start"
You can also check the Power Management tab and uncheck the box that says "Allow the computer to turn off this device to save power." I will also need to know if you are able to successfully pair a different Bluetooth-enabled device to your desktop computer.
Please re-post with the results of your troubleshooting, and I look forward to your reply!
Regards 🙂

Thank you for the reply. First I must say pairing has never been an issue. I've always been able to pair.
Here is what I do:
Make sure the device is unpaired
Click on the bluetooth icon lower right on the windows screen
pick add a device
enable bluetooth on the phone
set phone in search mode for all nearby bluetooth devices
windows sees the phone
click om phone icon
windows gives pairing code
asks if code matches
agree on the phone that it matches
agree on the pc it matches
phone and windows are paired
windows begins bluetooth driver(s) installation
drivers are searched, found and begin loading
all drivers appear as "peripheral devices" load successfully one at a time until the LAST one.
Red X is displayed for that driver
Says it cannot be found
search the internet for driver
cannot be found.
Call Motorola support
they take remote control of my pc
I watch Motorola go through all the steps I've taken "many" times
After one HOUR I terminate the session
On previous days I've logged on Broadcom web site and downloaded and attempted install of their drivers
same results
I have the same problem on my dv9000 windows 7 pc.
I believe there is no driver for the Motorola Moto X (XT1060) phone?

Hi again ZEKE1312,
It is good to hear back from you!
Since your desktop computer is able to pair with your Motorola phone, but is not able to setup or install drivers on the computer, I recommend contacting Motorola Technical Support for further assistance in this matter.
Best Regards 🙂
