Wireless adaptor issues in HP Spectre

HP Recommended

Hi - I have wasted the entire day today trying to look for a contact number to call HP Technical Support. All in vain. If Dell can have it, why cant you guys have it too??? After a long search I finally got to this page. My 5 month old Spectre is having issues with wireless. It is not picking up the wireless signal and after I did the auto fixing it comes it says: The Intel (R) Wireless - N- 7260 adaptor is experiencing driver or hardware issue.

My question, how can I solve this issue? Can it be done over the phone, or do i need to bring it to the service center? I am traveling on Monday night and really need this to be working. Thanks@

For a volunteer on this forum to help you, please post your laptop model number, OS you are running.

With so many wifi adapters for HP laptops, we will need model number. DO NOT post you laptop serial number or any personal information here.

I have already mentioned earlier that is is HP Spectre 13 Ultrabook.

Don't bother I got it done myself. My husband helped me to download a new driver and I reinstalled it. However, there is some fundamental issue with the wireless adaptor in this model. My laptop worked for few hours with that new driver and then went off again. I had to reinstall likebthree times. I hate this machine and the service is beyond sucks!
