Thank you for visiting the HP Support Forums and Welcome. I will do everything I can to assist you. I have read your thread on your HP Notebook and having issues with the wireless adapter. The HP Support Assistant will help you install the drivers and software for your machine. It will locate the correct driver for wireless adapter. Here is a link download  the HP Support Assistantif you need it. You can do a system restore.

I would be happy to assist if needed. How Do I Find My Model Number or Product Number?
Please respond with which Operating System you are running:
Which Windows Operating System am I running?
