dv7-1275dx - Cannot Get Quick Launch Buttons to Work in Win 7 32-Bit

HP Recommended

Hi guys,

Just did a clean upgrade this morning on my HP dv7-1275dx laptop this morning, and everything works fine except the Quick Launch buttons. I've chased down the current driver and nstalled, re-installed, and nothing seems to get them functioning.

Currently, my wireless light is blue, my mute button is orange, and none of the buttons respond to my touch.

Any suggestions on how to get this working properly?

Thanks in advance...
~Mike

Forced to uninstall the version I had installed, as it would not allow me to install the older driver otherwise.

Mute button has gone from white to orange, but no other changes. Still do touch control of any of the buttons.

1. Before updating Quick Lunch Buttons software You should always first uninstall older version.

2. Which driver version are You using for sound and wireless?

3. Which wireless model have You got under device manager ( Control Panel -> Devices Manager -> Network Cards)

4. Go to Control Panel -> Devices Manager

Have You got there any yellow signs? If yes then click with right button of Your mouse on each of them and choose properties. Then go to bottom details and paste here Hardware Ids. This way we will know what it is.

Below You've got example how to do it:

Device ID
