If your computer have a ADP Warranty (Accidental Damage Plan) Just give HP a call here 1800 474 6836.. Please be advised that there will be a charge for customer induced damage (accidental drops or water spillage)

how to change a keyboard

After many YouTube videos I think that I may be able to do it. I bought a cheap usb key board but at times it will not type. It may have damaged something else also

Water spillage will cause circuits not to function. Theres is no way you can make the unit work even if you use external device since the problem resides with the CIRCUITS not with the KEYPAD..
