Hello, I am hopeful that someone can help me.  A few months ago my printer started acting up.  When my pages print the alignment starts shifting to the left.  I have tried resetting, disconnecting and connecting, and looked for paper jams (nothing from what I can see).  Any assistance with this would be greatly appreciated.  I inserted a photo, the alignment test page but for some reason its not showing up when I post it.

Possible defective printhead.  Could also be a defective board.  Only way to find out is to replace the printhead.  Printheads can be expensive.  New printer maybe a better option.

Thank you for your response, I actually bought I used printer that the USPS slammed around in shipping and broke the scanner glass.  The printer still worked so I swapped my print head with that printer and it printed fine.  I think it might be a defective board like you said.  So technically,  I have ruled out the print head.
