I have an Office Jet Pro 6830 that will not print.  Receive paper jam error but there is no jam.  Also received msg regarding ink problem.  Replaced ink cartridges, but printer will not print.  Turned printer on and off several times and printer still doesn't print. Leaving the printer off for days did not make any difference. I already tried cleaning the rollers, replacing the paper, and still getting error.

Hi @Sveta3240,

Welcome to HP Support Community.

Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you.

It sounds like you've tried several troubleshooting steps already. Since the issue persists even after replacing ink cartridges, cleaning rollers, and ensuring there's no paper jam, there might be a few other things you can try.

  • Check for Firmware Updates: Sometimes, printer issues can be resolved by updating the firmware. Check HP's website for any available firmware updates for your Office Jet Pro 6830 model and follow the instructions to update it.
  • Reset the Printer: Try resetting the printer to its factory settings. This can sometimes resolve persistent issues. Look for instructions on how to perform a factory reset in the printer's manual or on HP's support website.
  • Inspect for Debris: Even though you've checked for paper jams, there could still be small pieces of debris stuck inside the printer. Use a flashlight to carefully inspect the inside of the printer for any foreign objects and remove them if found.
  • Check Sensor Flags: Inside the printer, there are small sensor flags that detect paper jams and other issues. Make sure these flags are moving freely and not stuck in the wrong position. Gently move them to ensure they're not jammed.

By going through these steps, you might be able to identify and resolve the issue with your HP Office Jet Pro 6830 printer.

I hope this helps.

Take care and have a good day.
