My printer has an error code indicating it is jammed and to check Tray 1 and the Rear door. I have reset it myself based on recommendations from other conversations. as well tried to clean it out. I called a printer repair company who came out and checked and cleaned all the sensors, took apart the printer to ensure there were no small pieces of paper or debris in the print path, as well as completed a factory reset. The repair person has indicated it is an internal error and is not repairable. I would like HP to contact me to discuss as it does not appear to be fixable, and there should be no reason it should be out of commission so soon.

Hi @Michelle70

Welcome to the HP Support Community.

As this is a hardware issue, I'd suggest you Contact HP in your region regarding the service options for your printer.

If you are having trouble navigating through the above options, it's most likely because the device is out of warranty. If yes? please send me a private message with the region you are contacting us from. Check next to your profile name, you should see a little blue envelope, please click on it.

Have a great day!
