I cannot connect my 2nd computer via network to my printer

HP OfficeJet 8710
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

We just bought an HP OfficeJet 8710, after our 8600 died. I came home and connected it to my laptop right away. There was a small glitch, but I was able to figure that out. Then I went to connect it to my husband's laptop (same model computer), and I cannot get it connected. We are on the same local network and have been using the same printer all along. I have read several forums and tried to do everything they suggested, but it still won't work. I have spent many hours on this problem, and it is getting very frustrating! At one point, the 8710 fax was showing up, but it said the printer driver wasn't installed. How did the fax get installed then?

Hi,

Download and run HP Print and Scan Dr utility from link below on the computer not working to troubleshoot the issue.
