Product: HP ENVY 5530 E all in one seri
Operating System: Mac OS X 10.9 Mavericks

HP ENVY 5530 E will not allow me to print from my mac as it will not connect !  I have tried to uninstall it through going to APPLICATIONS > HP UTILITY but do not know how to uninstal the device as it does not give me the option ? I have went through the troubleshoot instructions in the HP booklet and followed it for the Mac device section. 

Please help I need to use this printer asap.

Hi! @ashleigh11, Welcome to HP forums.

 

I understand you have issues connecting to your printer using your MAC.

 

Don't worry I will try to help you out.

 

Did you make any changes to your printer?

 

Reset printing systems on your MAC and check if it helps.

 

Click the Apple menu, and then click System Preferences.
Click Printers & Scanners, Print & Scan, or Print & Fax.
Right-click (or Control + click) anywhere inside the Printers window, and then click Reset printing system.
Click Reset or OK.
If prompted, type your username and password, and then click OK.
The printing system resets.
Turn off the printer, wait 5 seconds, and then turn on the printer.
Wait until the printer is idle and silent.
In the Printers window on the Mac, click the Add button.
Select your printer from the list, and then click Add.
