Laserjet M600

At our college we have all of our printers getting their IPs via DHCP. We then set all our printer's hostnames to a specific name that lets us know where the device is.   The print queues on our print servers are set to use the hostname to send the jobs to, instead of the IP.  The queue would go to the hostname which is something like Room218Nptr1.domain.edu.

I've run into a problem where I am unable to set the hostname on one of the M600 printers.  When I try to change it via the web interface or via telnet I get the same message that its a read-only setting.

Via web interface

"Read-Only parameters will remain unchanged. Other changes have been made successfully"

and via telnet

TCP/IP MAIN________________________________
Host Name : NPI02A3BB (Read-Only)
IP Config Method : DHCP
IPsec Config : Disabled
IP Address : 192.168.1.239
Subnet Mask : 255.255.255.0
Default Gateway : 192.168.1.1
Config Server : 192.168.1.35 (Read-Only)

Please advise.  I need to be able to edit the hostname.
