After upgrading several HP LaserJet 600 M602 drivers with frimware 2304061_439480.  I receive repeated errors in the printer event log containing " 42.B0.01 Missing String ID: en-US :  cReportedProblemsLog" every time a user prints.  I have tried a partial clean on all printers and tried reinstalling the firmware on all printers but the problem remains.  I had to downgrade the firmware to get these errors to stop.

Do you have any ideas how to get that firmware working?

Thanks for your assistance.

Have you ever found the cause and solution for this issue? I am having the same errors on a HP Laserjet 500 color M551, which is causing repeat prints of 100+ over the weekend.

Hello,

How did you go about downgrading the firmware?

Thanks!

I still have the same issue and it also occures on our HP LaserJet 500 color M551.  Downgrading has been the only solution so far.

Hi,

Same question as SheTec : How did you downgrade to previous firmware version ?

I cannot even found an older version for model HP Laserjet MFP500 M525f

Thanks

We are getting this error on a M602.  we have 3 PC's printing to this printer but only one of the printers are having a problem printing.

We have uninstalled and re-installed the drivers for the effected pc for this printer. After this is done it will print for the day then go back to not printing next morning.

Other PCs can print to the printer just fine.

It seems if they are printing something that you dont have to hit the print button it works.  If you hit print and tell it to print it wont.  It wont even print a test page.  I am reading about downgrading the firmware but how do you do this?
