Oficejet 5610
Microsoft Windows 7 (64-bit)

The 5610 has been off line for sometime and I can not get it to complete the alignment process. It gets to the second half and then holds at "Aligning Cartridge..... Please wait"

Hi @JMC_60,

Welcome to HP Forums, this is a great place to get support, find answers and tips.

Thank you for posting your query, I'll be more than glad to help you.

I understand that you are unable to complete the alignment of the cartridge on your HP Officejet 5610 All-in-One Printer as it is stuck on the message "Aligning Cartridge..... Please wait".

This issue could occur if the cartridges are defective or not working.

Let's go through a few steps to troubleshoot this issue.

And here's the step by step guide for you in the link: Alignment Unsuccessful

You may also try aligning the cartridges with one cartridge at a time to check the defective cartridge.

Let me know how this works.

You have a good day ahead.
