hp laserjet p1505
Microsoft Windows 7 (64-bit)

Dear Sirs,

I could not find the solution of our problem with hp laserjet p1505

We have a problem with hp laserJet p1505 . Delay long time between pages when printing multiple pages.  Although  hp laserjet p 1505   is stated to print 22 pages per minute,  but now It prints  three or four pages per minute.

If you inform us about the problem , we would be pleased.

Let me take a moment to thank you for posting on the HP Support Forums.

I understand that you have an HP LaserJet P1505 Printer and it prints multiple pages very slowly at about 3 to 4 pages per minute speed. I'd like to assist you with this case.

I would like to know if any changes (hardware or software) took place on the printer after which this issue may have started. Meanwhile, I recommend you to perform the following steps to isolate the issue and arrive at a fix:

  • I did some research and found that printing speed specifications of the printer. Please click here to view it.
  • According to this link, it says that narrow or heavy paper can cause the printer to print more slowly.
  • If the printing is still slow then I suggest you to review the steps as described in detail from this link: Slow Printing

I sincerely hope this fixes the issue. Feel free to let me know the results. All the best! 🙂

I have already tried the instructions  mentioned in the reply. Unfortunately, We have to still wait long between pages when printing multiple pages  even printing text files. Thank you very much your help.

Thanks for replying. 🙂

Doesn't look like a hardware issue because copy works fine. Let us uninstall and reinstall the printer drivers from root level:

  • In Windows, search for and open Programs and Features.
  • Select your HP printer.
  • Select Uninstall.
  • In Windows, search for and open Devices and Printers.
  • In the Devices and Printers window look for your HP Printer. If you see it listed, right-click on it and choose "Delete" or "Remove Device.”
  • Open up the run command with the "Windows Key + R" key combo.
  • Type printui.exe /s and click OK.
  • Click on Drivers tab.
  • Look for HP Printer driver. If you see it click on it and click Remove at the bottom.
  • Select OK.
  • Select Apply and OK on the Print Server Properties windows.
  • Close Devices and Printers.

Please download and install the drivers from this link: http://hp.care/2ihqnOZ.

Hope this helps. Let me know. All the best! 🙂
