I was having the same problem, and I went back and changed the eprint settings to "Everyone", added the printer here (using chrome) http://www.google.com/landing/cloudprint/hp-enable.html#, successfuly added, then went back and restricted the settings to "allowed settings only" ... Hope this helps!

This helped me. Thanks.

No most likely you didn't. What you probably experienced was the message "Could not get printer information from HP." or something. I got that as well, but most of us get another message (the parse problems) after we have enabled cloudprint to access the account.

I have just bought HP CP1525nw printer and I have exactly the same problem with registering it to Google Cloud Print service. I have managed to set up HP ePrint correctly, so AirPrint and printing with HP e-mail is working perfect, but Google Cloud Print service keep showing me "Unable to parse printer capabilities." whatever I do. I have also tried to switch privillegies from Everyone to limited e-mail address but in this case error message switches that he can't get info from HP (as mentioned before).

Just received this;

I would watch for this release on or after Wednesday May 25th. > Please let me know if you have any questions and thank you for your patience. > > Sincerely, > > Donovan Harrod > Boise Cloud Services Support Specialist > HP Enterprise Services

I have just solved the problem. I have update printer firmware with the latest available on offical HP site:

http://h10025.www1.hp.com/ewfrf/wc/softwareCategory?lc=en&dlc=en&cc=si&softwareitem=lj-90321-1&os=40...

 Version:20110329

After firmware upgrade, Google Cloud Print managed to add printer and printed test page.

Version 20110329 is quite old and I've updated my printer to that long ago and it did not resolve the issue.

I still had version from 2010, so update to 20110329 seems to solve the problem. I haven't found any newer version.

Actually I just tried without updating anything at all. And it works now! Google must have fixed something on their side.

Works here too. Printed a test page with no problem. Yay!
