HP C309G Driver/Software for Mac

HP Recommended
C309g
Mac OS X 10.10 Yosemite

I am not able to download a software & driver to install this printer on my mac. HP website tells me to download the software & driver provided with my operating system. Apple tells me "Can't install the software because it is not currently available from the Software Update server." Is it possible to get a link to download the driver/software from HP? Software is OS X Yosemite version 10.10.5. Thank you for your help, I don't want to have to buy a new printer!

@jrnez, welcome to HP Forums, this is a great place to get support, find answers and tips.
Thank you for posting your query, I'll be more than glad to help you out.

I understand that you are unable to download the software for your HP Photosmart Premium All-in-One Printer - C309g.

Don't worry as I have a few steps that should help fix this issue.

And here's the step by step guide for you in the links below:

Step 1:  Alternate Drivers for Mac OS

Step 2:

1.) From System Preferences, click on Print & Scan.

2.) Click the Plus sign.

3.) Select the listed LJ 1020 printer.

4.) Click the drop-down menu next to Use or Print Using and click on Select Printer Software.

5.) Select the HP Laserjet 1022 from the list.

6.) Click OK to confirm your selection and add the printer, then try printing using the configured print queue.

Step 3:  HP scanning software for Mac OS

Let me know how that works.

I hope you have a good day ahead.
