HP Laserjet CP1518ni
Microsoft Windows 7 (32-bit)

My Laser Jet doesn't seem to print correct colors we get magenta and not red yellow and not green sometimes and other times black instead of green. We have configed the colors 4 times consecuatively and it seems to change per printing as to what colors show up. we have made sure the device drivers were up to date. I did notice when opening up the printer and pull out the toner drawer that I can see toner powder that seems to have been spewed out the ends not sure if this is normal or not?

Hi! @footballgal09, Welcome to HP forums.

I understand that your printer is not printing colors correctly.

Don't worry I will try to help you out.

Recently, we discovered that some cartridges for the HP Color LaserJet CP1515n/CP1518ni Printer series, HP Color LaserJet CP1215, and HP Color LaserJet CM1312 MFP series were experiencing issues with internal cartridge components resulting in unacceptable print quality. However, the engineering team has developed and implemented a solution. If customers experience this problem, they can return any affected cartridges under their existing warranty. Please visit HP Customer Support to determine the appropriate return options for your region

If you experience this issue HP will replace the impacted cartridge as a warranty return. If there is toner in the printer that can not be easily be cleaned, the printer can be returned to where it was purchased or through HP’s warranty systems.
