My printer quit printing black ink.  I followed the trouble shooting and ended up cleaning the printhead manually.  After the manual cleaning and re-installation, it gave me an ink system failure.  Then the troubleshooting said to reset the system.  After I reset the system, it now says I have to use the setup cartridges.  I do not have those cartridges anymore.  What are my options?  I do not remember anything flagging the setup cartridges to be saved even after they were empty.  This seems like a broken system from the consumer's perspective.

What are my options?
