This worked for me too. After checking all the network settings. Changing the printer port to the new ip, moved the printer from one network to a new network. The wireless did not work. I did check the wireless radio, PrintDoc Provost. what a waste of time. All the checks were showing good and I could ping the printer on the network. Still no printing and the HP Solution Center did not show it as connected. So I gave in and pluged in the USB and all of a sudden it showed up. I disconnected the USB cable and then the network worked without having to make any other changes. There is a bug where you have to connect via USB for the wireless to work correct. Crazy.

computer states printer is off-line.  Printer is turned on.  Wireless light is on.
