I RECENTLY PURCHASED HP DESKJET GT 5820. I DIDN'T SET ANY PASSWORD FOR ITS WI-FI BUT WHEN I CONNECT MY LAPTOP WITH HP'S WI-FI IT TELLS ME TO GIVE SECURITY KEY. WHAT SHOULD I DO NOW.

Thanks for using the HP Forums.

 

Believed it's asking for the Wifi Direct password.

 

This example will show you how to retrieve the WIfi Direct Password and to print (using a phone)

 

Using Wifi Direct to print

 

If you would like to print from your computer, can you download and install the FULL feature printer software from HP for your operating system:

 

The following resource will help you :

http://123.hp.com/us/en/

Key in your printer model, Operating System and download & install the FULL feature software.


Once you have downloaded and installed the FULL feature software, you will be able to print and scan.
