Operating System: Mac OS X 10.11 El Capitan

 

 Just over a week ago I was given a new router and my printerwill not print , the wifi light just keeps flashing .When I try to connect it the computer says it cannot find it.

WiFi light flashing means you are not connected to your routers SSID with password.  You need to reinstall the printer using your Printer USB cable to transfer the settings to the printer.   All here on the HP web site.
