Product: Office Jet pro 8610
Operating System: Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

I have downloaded the software several times and can't get the printer assistant for this printer. I can't scan remotly without it and can't seem to get the software download to do it. I also jave an 8600 at a different location nd the software was ok there. Any suggestions?

As I understand you are unable to download the printer assistant,

No worries, as I'll be glad to help you, that said, I'll need a few more details to dissect your concern & provide an accurate solution: 

Have you checked any related HP forums post that contains a solution to your concern?

 

If you haven't, Here's a related HP Forums post that seems to have helped others: Click here for the steps.

I also, recommend using the Official HP website if you've been installing using the printer CD: Click here to find and install the full feature software online.
