OfficeJet Pro 8610

I recently changed routers and I cannot get the printer to connect to it. Feature is locked by the control panel lock and I do not remember what I would have set it to. I need to factory restore the printer so that I can connect to the internet. Also would like to keep my same email for the HP eprint service how would I go about going that as well after I get the printer connected?

Hi swimmerbhs,

I understand your problem is that the feature is locked when you try to connect the router.

You can change settings of feature lock feature in embeded web sever(EWS).

How can you login to your EWS page?

Go to a browser -> Key in the IP address.

How to check IP address?

Insert Enthernet cable and check IP address from control panel, or print an network configuration report.

How to un-lock features from EWS page?

Settings -> Security -> Control Panel Lock -> Un-check "Control Panel Lock" option.

Please try and let me know if this works.

Have a nice day.
