PCL XL ERROR

Tried remove and added back in with new drivers

Tried complete uninstall, reboot then reinstall with very latest drivers

Tried power cycling computer and printer

Tried printing from a variety of programs.

Tried EPrint

Tried clicking the "firmware update" in this forum but the link is dead.

Tried the Print Doctor - it thinks nothing is wrong

Finally powered off printer and back on....  Fixed.

I am having a similar issue on a LaserJet MFP400 m475dn.  This is affecting 50+ people in the company currently and this is a brand new printer.

Error Message sheet that prints out reads:

PCL XL Error

Subsystem:  TEXT

Error:  InternalError 0x50

File Name:  cheettext.c

Line Number:  710

I have tried power cycling, factory reseting and re-installing on the network, re-installing drivers.  Still the same issue or it prints out 100's of pages with 1 line of code at the top rather than any documents.

Hi,

So new FW was recently released to web to specifically address some of these issues. Please go ahead and upgrade to the latest version of FW.

Thanks!

Way to not include the link to it!  Come on HP employees if this is how HP gives help then at least give a link.

I searched in the drivers area and hope this is right:
