Just installed new HP Ink Cartridges. When I print a Test Page, Align or Clean the print heads, it prints in color.  However, when I print a document containing colored text, it does not print in color.

Just to add on, follow the steps to enable back , if your black only is enabled:  open the Printer Preferences window, and then select Color or turn off the black ink only or grayscale setting.

I do not see a mono tone setting. Where is it located?

Tried the HP Print and Scan Doctor 4.9.

Result: While it was displaying "Communicating with your selected product" and the green bar was about half way across it printed the following:

GET /DevMgmt/ProductConfigDyn.xml HTTP/1.1

HOST:

After the printer stopped, the HP Print and Scan Doctor froze. I was not able to exit from it - none of the tabs across the top were available, so I used "Task Manager" to end the process.

It will only print in color if the print is NOT initiated from my laptop (Toshiba Satellite C55-A).

Where can I check about a "mono tone setting?"

My solution:

I removed the printer (Devices and Printers), disconnected the printer (connected via 2.0 USB printer cable to the USB 2.0 port on my laptop) from the laptop, restarted the laptop and re-connected the printer via the 2.0 USB cable. Windows installed the appropriate drivers, etc. and I was able to print a Test Page, print a color document, etc.

Thank You.
