Solved!

Reduce number of steps to scan multiple documents with unique file names on thHP Office Jet Pro 6830

HP Office Jet Pro 6830
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

Is there a way to move past the HP Printer Assistant home page on subsequent scans?

I have many scans that I need to make, yet upon scan 1 completion the system keeps bringing me back to the Print /Scan/ Fax home page. I want to stay within the Scan Screen dialog box for scan 2...3...etc.

Thanks, RobD3

Hi,

Thanks for using the HP forum.

Not sure if the following video would help:

Scanning multiple pages to a PDF document

https://goo.gl/NcB2oc

Once you have saved the document, you can click on "Back" (instead of "Done") to go back to the Scan UI and scan again without closing it and starting all over from the rint /Scan/ Fax home page.

Hope that helps.

HP Green Turtle,

THANK YOU! I would never have thought of using the back button instead of the done button to complete a scan.

Great short cut and your suggestion resolved my issue.

Thanks again,

RobD3

PS Love HP! I have the Envy and Spectre laptops and both are great as is the 6830.
