I have a M477fnw laser printer, Windows 7.0 and MSO 2012, same MSO problem.

The solution above, by tweetyvogel, worked for me, sort of.

I still have to enter my administrator password every time I want to print from MSO in a non-administrator profile.

I"m going to try tweetyvogel's last suggestion, about creating another super user and reinstalling the HP there.  We'll see.  For the moment, I think I'll keep the HP and see how it goes.

This is still quite unsatisfactory.  I uninstalled an epson printer that was small and worn out, but had no such problems.

I solved my issue with security on the temp folders.

I think the long description is here

The complete solution for all ENVY 5540 all in one printer is to Run As administrator any program that doesn't print on it,,,, so, lets say,, word doesn't print??!!!

go to start menue > ALL programs > microsoft office > Press SHIFT key then ((right click)) Word > choose Run As Administrator.

word will Open, from ther, open any file and print it,,,,

so, conclusion, is find any program (EXE) in ur computer that  u want to use and print from,,, Press SHIFT key then ((right click)) that program while pressing SHIFT key and choose ((Run As Administrator)) every thing wil work fine...

this will solve all issue regarding ENVY 5540 Printing problems.

dont use HP support solution that disables windows UAC (User Access Control)) that would hram ur computer and make it valnerable.
