Why are there 4 networks discovered when I run a Wireless Report on my printer? Shouldn't it just be my Wi-fi connection? And if so, how do I block the other 3?

Hi,

The Wireless Test report shows hom many network the printer detects in its range.

The active connection only include your wireless network and not any other networks, as long as the networks are in range the test shows that those within the range for the printer.

Thanks. Reason I ask is because my computer was hacked into the other day. Apparently hackers can hack into printers and acquire passwords, credit card information etc, so I want to make sure it isn't vulnerable...

One other question....I have the same thing.  I have 14 networks discovered when I ran that same report.  So do I leave them alone or how do I get rid of them?  How do I know they are not connecting into my system?  Under WPS, most say yes but a few say no.  What does that mean?  Thank you so much for your help.

What you are seeing are other peoples SSID with their routers. No you can do nothing about it. Your own network at home should have a router utilizing WPA2-AES encryption with your unique SSID with a strong paraphrase/password.

so these people do not have access to my computer system?  I am just making sure.  Thank you for your help.

As long as you don't give them your password.  Nope.
