I am having the same problem. I rebooted the printer and checked for software update. Still unable to scan to email. I've checked all of my wireless settings and everything is working properly. Please advise.
Not sure what HP you have but I have the Envy 7645 and after days & hours of troubleshooting HP support finally found out I cannot scan to email from the software that opens on my computer - only from the front panel of the printer. This is crap and I will replace this printer as soon as I can - it's only 4 mos old. The features listed on the box and everywhere else in documentation do not tell you this.
