I recently set up this printer.  Regular printing is fine,  but when i print my 3 to a page checks on Quickbooks, the print is too high.  Also, I can't print just 1 check as it says the paper size is wrong.  How do I lower the printing and print only 1 check?

Hi @Diane26,

Welcome to HP Forums, this is a great place to get support, find answers and tips.

Thank you for posting your query, I'll be more than glad to help you.

I understand that you wanted to know how to print one check at a time from your HP OfficeJet Pro 8710 All-in-One Printer.

Let's go through a few steps to troubleshoot this issue.

And here's the step by step guide for you listed below:

1. On the printer itself, set the paper size to #10 Envelope.

2. Set the tray to hold envelopes that are centered, with short-edge fed first.

3. Load single check (face-down, right-hand short-edge first, with bottom edge strip still attached)

4. Now set Quicken check-print setup to Network Printer, under the Printer Properties, the "layout" tab, select "Advanced", select the Paper/Output to Envelope #10, Vertical +15, Horizontal +15.

5. Then select Partial-page printing Centered, short-edge first.

6. Then when printing the single check, select "no tear off strip".

Let me know how this works.

You have a good day ahead.
