error when printing from Excel to Shared printer using UPD 5.2

We have a strange issue using when trying to print to shared printers using the HP Universal Print Driver PCL v5.2

The printers are HP laserjet 4250 and are connected to a print server via IP.

The clients are all connecting from a Citrix farm on servers running Windows Server 2008 SP2 x64.

The print server is on the same network

When we try and print form Office 2007 we get the error message:

Your file could not be printed due to an error on \\HULLHP\LeedsDespatch02 on Ne-01: there are several possible reasons:

There maybe not enough memory availible. Try closing files and programs you aren't using.

If you are using a network for prining, there may be a problem with the network connection or printer driver.

There maybe loose cables or a bad connection between your computer and the printer.

Now the strange this is if we press OK the document prints fine.

i have played around with all the print settings to no avail.

if we install any of the printers locally on the citrix server it prints fine but we have issues connecting with shared printers over the network.

We have used this driver as it offers the best spool size for our documents.

Any one have any ideas of what could be causing this?

Are there any known issues with PCL 5 v5.2 driver and Excel 2007?

Many Thanks BlueChp
