HP office jet pro 6968
Microsoft Windows XP (64-bit)

my printing starts too far down the page so the bottom of the page gets cut off.

I have aligned the printer and printed a test page which looks fine and have rebooted the printer.

Other ideas???

Thanks.

Welcome to the HP Forums. I would be happy to help you with your HP OfficeJet Pro 6968 printer. I understand that you are getting alignment issue and you have already done some preliminary troubleshooting.

Don't worry though as I have a few steps to determine the issue and find a solution as well,

  • Check the print settings.
  • Align the printhead.

Click here and perform step 4 and 10 from the document.

If the issue is resolved and you appreciate my help,

Please click the "Accept as Solution" button and the "Thumbs Up".

Let me know how you make out.

Cheers.
