My new wireless router supports only WPA2+PSK devices.
There are many support threads on connecting this printer but they do not help me.
I see no point in continuing without a definitive answer to this question.

Yes, it does.
See page 112 of its user guide:
Wireless security •Authentication: Open System, Shared Key, WPA Personal, WPA2 Personal (PSK) •Encryption: WEP64, WEP128, TKIP, AES

You may follow below steps to connect wirelessly from the printer control panel:

Yes it does, BUT ONLY if it has the latest firmware. Updating the firmware was a whole new saga.
After the firmware upgrade the menu options had not changed and bear no resemblence to the contents in the link to connect wirelessly.
Running easy wireless setup on a windows pc eventually worked, but only by inputting all the wifi details manually.
