I am trying to upgrade my firmware on a Samsung C1860 MFP, but i don't know the admin password. I can't remember if i set this up at install, or if there is a default password that i am nor aware of. If it was something i setup but forgot, is there a way to do something like a master restore and get it back to default?

Hi,

Have you tried the default password, as listed on page 193 of its user guide?

Thanks for sending the manual link, but no luck. page 283 seems to be the process i'm looking for, but always wants a PW. So i can't get to any of the selections like firmware upgrade, which is what i want to do
