I cannot find the specific instructions for my HP Color Laser MFP 179fnw to setup scanning to email.

Can anyone help please?

Hi,

Scan to email is not a feature provided for the printer.

 

You may scan through HP MFP Scan or the HP Smart app to your computer.

You may also use HP Smart Tasks through the HP Smart app to scan from the app to an email:
